Covey celebrated her third birthday in labor and delivered her one and only litter January 24th 2015 and is now spayed and a fixture on the couch with her aunts Gussie, Halle, and Julep! She is a sweet loving girl who reminds me so much of her mother, Twister. She was one of those puppies that I picked at birth, as did her mother. Sometimes bitches just have a favorite pup and it's no coincidence that she was my favorite structurally as well. At age four, she developed hyperestrogenism due to a growth on her ovary. While many breeders may have opted to just remove the growth and breed her again, I felt it was a sign that she should be retired. Now that the growth is removed, her hormones are back in sync and she can help raise her kids and future grandkids here at home!
